A WOMAN has broken down in tears as she admits she works three jobs and still doesn’t have enough money.Not only is Arizona-born Jourdan Skirh struggling to make ends meet, but she also admitted that she’s drowning in debt and has reached breaking point.
Opening up about her financial situation on social media, the 29-year-old woman claimed that her three sets of wages still aren’t enough to cover her living expenses.Breaking down in a now-viral video, she asked: “Does anyone else feel like they’re absolutely f*****g drowning financially, as a single 29-year-old woman?”She then admitted: “I have three jobs. And I’m still f*****g struggling.”I’m just getting myself further and further into credit card debt, because I don’t have enough after the first of the month to avoid using it. It just isn’t working.”The influencer then claimed that she’d been working since she was 15, and despite not going into detail about her professions, she revealed that she now makes ‘six figures’.
She continued: “I have seriously considered quitting my full-time good job to go back to serving, because at least I can use my personality and try to get more money than minimum wage or what an ‘entry-level’ job pays people nowadays.”It’s f*****g sick.”She then admitted that while her credit score used to be good, she has no choice but to rely on it now, as she shared: “My credit used to be f*****g phenomenal.”Credit card bill? Paid it all off, every single time. [Now] it’s not like that. It can’t be like that anymore.”Full time job, not doing it. Got a second job, it’s barely doing it. The third job? Hit or miss if I even get paid on time. I feel like I’m drowning and I don’t know what to do.”
She finished the video by asking: “Just wanna know if anyone else is like me right now.”The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @jourdskir, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it quickly went viral and has since amassed a staggering 3.3 million views.Many social media users sympathised with Jourdan and opened up about their financial struggles.One user shared: “I’m drowning mentally, financially and physically….”Another added: “Who else has been personally victimized by 2023?”A third commented: “And they wonder why our generation doesn’t want kids.”
Whilst someone else admitted: “Same. I feel stuck at home, the thought of having my own place seems so far away.”However, many also commented on the seemingly lavish lifestyle that Jourdan exhibits across her various social media profiles, with some accusing her of living beyond her means.One person said: “You went to Ibiza in may tho.”However, Jourdan quickly clapped back and claimed: “My friend works for Boeing and paid for my flight lmao.Meanwhile, another user shared: “Yeah, like lip injections are like $700. I mean that could be a financial struggle.”However, the TikToker insisted that she’d ‘never give up’ some of life’s luxuries.She explained: “The one thing I’ll never give up personally is getting my nails done, because I have been doing that my entire life.”She also admitted that she receives regular Botox and fillers, as she continued: “It doesn’t really matter cause it makes me happy.”
