Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld and his family have been blessed with the arrival of a new baby boy nine months after his club’s Champions League superb win over Dutch side Ajax.
It was an incredible victory for Tottenham against Ajax in the Champions League semifinal where they failed to win the first leg against the Dutch giants..
Tottenham then under ex manager Mauricio Pochettino needed to score three goals in the return leg against Ajax, and Lucas Moura was superb netting all the goals for the Premier League side.
Lucas Moura even scored his third goal in the last minute to break the hearts of Ajax fans who were expecting their club to make it to the final.
Tottenham however qualified for the Champions League final before losing against fellow Premier League rivals Liverpool.
But it can now be said that Toby took the party of their win against Ajax to the next level and he has gotten the perfect result of it.
The 30-year-old Belgium international has already been blessed with a daughter and he took to social media to confirm the arrival of his new son.
Despite reaching the final of the Champions League last season, Tottenham struggled at the beginning of the ongoing Premier League season which forced the club to sack Pochettino.
They appointed Jose Mourinho who has not been that impressive since he got the job at Spurs as he looks forward to make the Champions League spot.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how nine months after Liverpool’s miraculous comeback against Barcelona in the Champions League, club’s captain Jordan Henderson and teammate Mohamed Salah welcomed new babies to their families.
Last season, Liverpool were trailing 3-0 from their semi-final first leg against Barcelona but two goals each from Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum sent the Reds to the Champions League final.
They eventually lifted the trophy after winning 2-0 against Tottenham in the final and it appears that some of Liverpool’s players went the extra mile in celebrating that victory.
