A Nigerian has shocked everyone after using stick to operate an Automated Teller Machine (ATM) for fear of contracting the deadly disease.

As the Twitter user took a video of the moment, she was surprised to see the level of carefulness exhibited by the man at the ATM.

In other news, a Nigerian lady identified as Amrah Aliyu has volunteered to produce 1,000 bottles of hand sanitiser and 1,000 liquid soap in Minna, Niger state.
She made the disclosure on LinkedIn, adding that she is currently getting resources ready to produce a large batch of hand sanitiser and soap for her community.
She said: “I will be distributing free hand sanitizer to people in different areas and this might go on for a week or more, depending on how it goes.
“Anyone who wants to be part of this project as either an expert of making sanitizers and soaps, a volunteer, a distributor or as an individual willing to give out free hand sanitizer in Minna should feel free to indicate or DM me….”
Amrah said the project will include producing the sanitisers and soaps, packing, distribution and educating people with limited access to credible information.
She added: “I know these are trying times but if you’re in a place to help out financially and otherwise with this effort, it would be incredibly appreciated.”
Legit.ng previously reported that another Nigerian identified as Hajia Laila Abubakar Ali died of coronavirus in the United States.
The 60-year-old woman, who was an indigene of Kano, was the elder sister to the permanent secretary of Kano state’s Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Her death was revealed on Thursday, March 26, by Salihu Yakasai, spokesman to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state.
Yakasai tweeted: “An indigene of Kano living in America by the name Hajia Laila Abubakar Ali has died of Covid-19.
“The 60yr old died yesterday after being infected. She was the elder sister to the Perm Sec of Ministry of Religious Affairs Kano. May her soul rest in peace.”
