At a joint press conference held by tech billionaire Elon Musk and President Donald Trump from the Oval Office on Tuesday, Trump appeared to turn angrily away from Musk’s son after the child turned to him and appeared to say something. The Oval Office press meeting was strange as Elon Musk was dominating it- Trump was speaking less.
The spotlight unexpectedly shifted to Elon Musk’s four-year-old son, Lil X. During the controversial press event, Lil X was seen picking his nose, mimicking his father, and whispering to Trump as he lingered by the Resolute desk.Making light of more grave matters, the child looked on as Trump bolstered Musk and Doge’s power to reshape the federal government by signing an executive order requiring agencies to cooperate with the Musk-led department and the effort to slash costs.
Did Musk’s son annoy Trump?Musk’s son rarely did stand still- he was seen interfering when the Tesla CEO was speaking and disrupting his words initially and he also approached the President and said something. Trump once tried to silence him and failed. Trump not only gave him a forgiving smile every time but also introduced him to the media as ‘a high IQ child’.However, at one point, X was also seen picking his nose—a normal behaviour for a child of his age. Trump then seemed to turn away from the child in frustration. Netizens made an interesting observation that ‘Little X’- he was his usual self and was not afraid of his father and Trump. Even as both of them were speaking, he continued the whispers and then picked his nose.
Elon Musk’s son knows opportunity when he sees it. He just went down in American history as the first kid to pick his nose and wipe it on the President’s desk in the Oval Office,” a social media user said.
